This web site and the books we are publishing through Wisdom Voices Press serve as a testimony to our faith in the human spirit. Today, more than at any other time I can recall, it is easy to get lost in the negative conversations that focus on dividing us. We can become frustrated dealing with a world that appears to have lost its focus on what connects us as members of the human race.
Recalling those who have spoken with wisdom and courage is tonic for the soul. We believe that inspirational voices – from the famous to those who are little known – can encourage and refresh us as we continue our life’s journey.
In the days, months, and years ahead, we will bring you quotes, books, and blog posts that provide us hope, inspire us to remember the power for good that each of us possess, and help us appreciate the importance of an educated mind, a loving heart, and a soul that reaches for life-giving purposes.
Or, to quote Howard Zinn, who is featured in our first edition of Wisdom of Progressive Voices:
