In the introduction to our book Wisdom of Progressive Voices, we included “voices that look for common ground” as one of the basic principles that moves us forward as a people. Common ground, we said, is what holds us together. The wonderful web site On The Commons does a tremendous job of reminding us of that.
We love OTC’s mission statement: Our mission is to draw attention to the importance of the commons in the modern world. We advance commons-based solutions that will help achieve environmental restoration, social justice, global cooperation and a brighter future for all.
